Author Guidelines

Manuscript Requirements

Please download the AJSE Template.

1. Contributions should be up to a maximum of 5000 words and a short abstract of about 150 words should be provided. A manuscript should have an abstract, an introduction, a main body of the text with necessary subsections and headings, results, conclusions, and references.

2. The manuscript should be typed for A4 size, using single-spaced, 10-pt font throughout (except the abstract) using Times New Roman font and double column format throughout the paper with the margin as mentioned in item 3. The manuscript must be typed using MSWord (other formats not acceptable).

3. All papers submitted to AJSE will be double blind peer-reviewed.  Hence in initial submission there is no need to include Authors name in the paper. Although final submission after been accepted need complete mailing address indicating designation, e-mail, telephone of the author(s) should appear at the lower left side of the 1st page in the 1st column. These should be typed using 8-pt Times New Roman font.

4. The figures along with the figure captions and figure numbers should be fitted in position in double column camera-ready format. 

5. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and must contain informative captions. Figure numbers should be written as Fig. 1, Fig. 2.

6. References should be typed in the IEEE style.

7. Please Carefully fill-up the Metadata form.

8. Authors are required to send signed declaration of originality and copy right transfer form which will be sent after the acceptance of the manuscript.

9. Page limit minimum 4 pages and maximum 12 pages

A manuscript number will be e-mailed to the corresponding author within 72 hours. All correspondence should be referred with the provided manuscript number.

Article Processing Charges:
Currently AJSE publication is funded by AIUB ORP and authors are not required to make any payment during peer review or after their manuscript has been accepted for publication. 

Proofs and Reprints:
Electronic proofs will be sent as an e-mail attachment to the corresponding author as a PDF file. Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Submission must comply with double blind requirements (no author names in uploaded manuscript)
  • Manuscript must be prepared using AJSE template
  • The overall plagiarism must not exceed 25% similarity index without bibliography
  • A single source similarity cannot be more than 10%
  • Self-plagiarism must not exceed 5% if the overall similarity index is less than 20%

Articles

AJSE journals employ a peer review process to maintain academic standards and ensure the validity of submitted works. All papers submitted to AJSE are double-blind peer-reviewed by at least two reputed international researchers in the relevant field.

Paper acceptance decisions are primarily based on originality, technical merit, contributions, and relevance to the journal scope. Depending on reviewer comments and recommendations, manuscripts may be returned to authors for revision. After revision, the manuscript may be reassigned to the reviewers for further evaluation.

The final decision to publish is made by the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial board of AJSE.

Covid-19 Special Issue

AJSE has a long history of publishing journal in since August 2002. It has published 19 volumes. The core vision of this journal is to propagate the innovative information and technology to promote the academic and research professionals in the field of Science, Technology, and Engineering. The aim of the 2019-nCoV special issue of AJSE is to create a platform for academician, researchers, and industries to present and publish their innovative researches on engineering & science application on mitigating emerging issue due to Covid-19.
